This is a 1-1/2" clear PVC swing check valve with socket ends. The true union design allows for the valve to be taken out of the line and cleaned or serviced. By using this clear valve we can better monitor the pipe line and flow. Check valves are used to ensure flow is restricted to only one direction. These are commonly used in situations where backflow is detrimental.
