When ordering chlorinator parts and systems, customers need the assurance that their order will perform to the highest standard to keep aquatic facilities running properly.
That’s why PurAqua Products is dedicated to meeting the highest global standards for quality management and control. For us, that standard means being an ISO-9001 certified company for the last decade to provide our customers with the assurance that when it leaves our doors, it has been vetted to the highest standard.
But what exactly is ISO certification, and how does it help to instill customer confidence? Let’s take a look.
An Introduction to ISO
ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management that helps organizations improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality.
Implementing ISO 9001 means an organization has put in place effective processes and trained staff to deliver flawless products or services time after time. With more than one million certificates issued to organizations in 189 countries, ISO 9001 is the most widely used quality management standard in the world.
This certification helps to enhance customer confidence with the knowledge that robust quality control processes are in place, an organization has effective compliant resolution, the ability to improve processes by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, as well as ongoing optimization by way of regular audits. At PurAqua, we do this by opening our doors to a third party each year for an external audit, in addition to our annual internal audit.
PurAqua’s ISO Process
The ISO auditing process covers everything from manufacturing to shipping to ensure our customers can expect the highest quality, including:
Tracking Orders – While many Accu-Tab® and Acid-Rite® system orders are similar, each individual order has intricacies that need to be documented. The audits confirm that all orders are properly recorded in a manufacturer’s system to ensure accuracy, and can be referred back to in the case of any customer requests.
Production Standards – When it comes to the manufacturing process on the floor, certain tools need to be calibrated. We send out these tools once a year to a third-party auditor to make sure the calibration standard of the tool is within the specifications of the manufacturer. If the tool is worn out, the audit will catch that in calibration, as opposed to finding out in real time on the shop floor and delaying production.
Shipping – Whenever any items are shipped, we keep detailed records. That way, if there is any problem with delivery, we can refer back to the order based off the serial number of the unit to determine next steps.
Flawless Fail Rate
At PurAqua, we take quality control seriously, and we are proud of the fact that when our products go out the door, we have a 0% fail rate.
This is a credit to the procedures that we have in place (much like those listed above) so that nothing leaves the building until it has been 100% certified through testing procedures. Not only have our products been tested, but that testing has been documented.
