This past year has been a special one at PurAqua. Not only did we celebrate our 30th anniversary, but we enjoyed a wide range of corporate and personal accolades, certifications and more.
Let’s take a look back at some of our proudest moments from 2024:
30 Years in Business – We’ve come a long way since our start when Don Baker established PurAqua with a mission to create the perfect pool. Since then, we’ve grown in both size, revenue and geographic footprint. In fact, our staff doubled in size in just the past 10 years alone!
Hurricane Relief Efforts – Some of the heaviest devastation from September’s Hurricane Helene occurred just two hours away from our headquarters, and we wanted to help. PurAqua CEO Shawn O’Sullivan gave all employees three days off to volunteer with cleanup efforts in Western North Carolina. PurAqua and Aqua Management Partners loaded over 400 Accu-Tab® pails with supplies such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant to help those in need.
Awards – SC Biz News has recognized PurAqua as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina, an award that honors organizations across the state for excelling in creating positive workplace environments. This recognition underscores PurAqua’s commitment to employee well-being, professional development, and overall satisfaction.
In addition, PurAqua Products, Inc. has been named a recipient of the inaugural Best Companies Group’s America’s Best Workplaces in 2025 Award, presented in partnership with BridgeTower Media. These prestigious awards celebrate excellence in company culture by identifying and honoring the top workplaces across the United States. The program highlights the Top 10 workplaces in the small, medium, and large business categories, featuring organizations that have previously earned recognition through at least one other data-driven evaluation by Best Companies Group.
ISO Certification – At PurAqua, we pride ourselves in meeting the highest global standards for quality management and control. And that all starts with being ISO-9001 certified. That standard will continue into 2025, as we once again passed our ISO audit for a complete renewal of our ISO certification.
New ERP System – We successfully implemented our new ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, as we continually seek to improve the control of our inventory, sales and accounting processes. This was a major undertaking and we’re proud to announce it’s now up and running.
We’re proud of all that we’ve accomplished throughout 2024, and look forward to an even better 2025!
